The Asus Zenbook DUO laptop with two 3K 144 Hz screens, two 99 Wh batteries, and Intel Core Ultra 9 Series 3 was introduced in Ukraine.

ASUS announced the start of sales in Ukraine of a new generation of Zenbook DUO (UX8407) notebooks – one of the most unusual models on the market, equipped with two full touch displays at once. The updated version received a more compact body, modern Intel Core Ultra processors, improved autonomy and a number of improvements aimed at increasing the convenience of multitasking.

Two OLED screens turn the laptop into a mobile workstation

The main feature of the device remains the design with two 14-inch ASUS Lumina Pro OLED touch screens. Each display has a resolution of 2880×1800 pixels, supports a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, Dolby Vision certification and is capable of reaching a peak brightness of 1000 nits when playing HDR content.

ASUS engineers have also reduced the gap between the screens by about 70%, so that when opened, they are perceived as a single workspace. This is especially useful for designers, developers, installers, and professionals who need to work with multiple windows and applications at the same time.

The new body has become stronger and lighter

The proprietary material Ceraluminum, which combines the properties of ceramics and aluminum, is used to manufacture the case. According to ASUS, this solution provides high resistance to wear and mechanical damage without increasing the weight of the device.

The laptop received an updated hidden hinge, a built-in stand and an improved magnetic MagLatch keyboard fastening system, which allows you to quickly fix or detach it when switching between different work scenarios.

Intel Core Ultra and acceleration of AI tasks

The novelty is equipped with processors of the Intel Core Ultra X9 series, including the flagship Core Ultra X9 388H. The performance of the built-in neuroprocessor reaches 50 TOPS, and the total computing power in artificial intelligence tasks is up to 180 TOPS.

Built-in Intel Arc Graphics is responsible for graphics, and the amount of LPDDR5X RAM can reach 32 GB. SSD PCIe Gen4 with a volume of up to 2 TB is provided for data storage.

To maintain stable performance, an upgraded cooling system is used with larger fans and enhanced ventilation, which allows you to keep the heat package at a level of up to 45 W even under heavy load.

Up to 99 Wh of autonomy and a full set of modern interfaces

One of the key improvements was a power system with two batteries with a total capacity of 99 Wh. This is the maximum value allowed for most air travel, making the device a convenient companion for business trips and travels.
