Performance and connectivity
The Spark 50 5G is powered by an energy-efficient 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, ensuring smooth interface performance and 5G network support. Two memory options are available: 4/128 GB for $180 and 6/128 GB for $200. Even the base version handles messaging, social media, and daily apps comfortably, while the 128 GB internal storage provides enough space for photos, videos, and apps.
Display and visual experience
The smartphone features a 6.78-inch IPS display with a 120 Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and interface interaction. The HD+ resolution reduces power consumption and contributes to longer battery life. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the side power button, offering convenience for daily use.
Battery and autonomy
The Spark 50 5G’s main highlight is its 6500 mAh battery. Combined with the efficient processor and HD+ display, it delivers up to two days of active use without charging. 45W fast charging support allows quick battery top-ups.
Cameras and software
The main 50 MP camera captures good-quality daytime photos, while the 8 MP front camera is suitable for selfies and video calls. The smartphone runs on Android 16 with Tecno’s HiOS 16, ensuring software stays up-to-date for several years.
Additionally, the Spark 50 5G is dust- and splash-resistant (IP64), supports dual SIM cards, Bluetooth 5.3, and retains the standard 3.5 mm headphone jack. Sales begin on April 3.
