S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope will be released this summer – the release date has been announced

Developers from GSC Game World have officially confirmed the release date of the story expansion for the shooter S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 titled “S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope” (S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope).

New Adventures of Skif

The new addition continues the story of Skif, who finds himself drawn into the vortex of confrontation between the factions “Debt” and “Will”. The plot brings the hero to a mysterious city, which, according to the legends of the Zone, should not even exist on the maps.

Players have to join forces with key characters from two warring factions: Zul from Dolgu and Mavka from Will. Together with them, Skif will go to the location, which the stalkers call “the source of all evil in the Zone.” The developers promise players:

• Exploring unexplored paths in the depths of the Zone.
• Meeting with previously unseen dangers.
• Revelation of dark secrets in conditions of constant tension between factions.

Release date

The project will be released on August 20, 2026 and will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
