Rogbid SpinX: a smart watch with optical control and autonomy of up to 100 days
28.04.26
The Rogbid company presented a new protected SpinX smart watch, which bets on three key advantages at once: a non-standard control method, a record autonomy and an extremely affordable price. At around $50, the device is clearly aimed at the mainstream budget segment, but with features typically found in more expensive models.
Touch wheel instead of classic mechanics
The main engineering feature of SpinX is an optical scroll wheel that replaces the usual mechanical crown. Instead of physical rotation, a sensor system is used that reads the user’s movements and converts them into interface commands.
This significantly reduces mechanical wear and makes control smoother and more precise, especially when navigating through menus and applications. In addition, it increases the durability of the control element, which is often a weak point in a traditional watch.
The design of the wheel is made in two versions: strict Tech Black and more expressive Vibrant Orange.
100 days without charging

One of the main arguments of the model was the battery with a capacity of 1100 mAh – this is much more than most standard smart watches.
Declared autonomy indicators:
- up to 40 days of work with active use
- up to 100 days in standby mode
In fact, SpinX goes beyond the usual “daily charging” scenario, approaching the format of devices that can be used for weeks without connecting to the network.
The functionality is complemented by a built-in LED flashlight with several modes: constant light, strobe and SOS emergency signal, which makes the model more practical for hiking and emergency situations.
Military grade screen, sensors and protection

The watch is equipped with a 1.43-inch HD display with increased brightness, which ensures good readability even in bright sunlight.
Functional filling includes:
- Bluetooth calls via built-in microphone and speaker
- displaying messages from a smartphone
- more than 100 sports modes
- heart rate and SpO₂ sensors
- sleep monitoring
- built-in compass
The case meets the MIL-STD-810H standard, which provides resistance to shocks, vibrations and difficult operating conditions. It also claims 3 ATM water resistance, which allows you to use the device while swimming and in rainy weather.
Cost
Rogbid SpinX is now available for sale through the brand’s official store. Despite the extended functionality, non-standard control system and increased autonomy, the price remains at the level of about $50.
