Nostalgia in action: the powerful Trozk power bank in the design of the iconic Motorola DynaTAC

The Trozk brand presented an unusual external battery inspired by the design of the Motorola DynaTAC 8000X – the legendary “brick” that became a symbol of the eighties. The novelty combines retro aesthetics with modern charging technologies, offering high power in an unusual case.

The device completely copies the silhouette of a classic mobile phone of the last century, including a decorative antenna and button panel. However, inside the case is hidden a very relevant stuffing: a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 20,000 mAh. This allows you to charge modern electronics in 2026 while maintaining the vintage style of your accessory.

Technical characteristics and capabilities

Despite its playful appearance, the power bank produces a significant total power of 165 W, which makes it suitable for working with productive laptops. The device is equipped with three ports:

  • Two USB-C connectors with a power of 100 W and 105 W.
  • One USB-A connector with a capacity of 30 W.

The intelligent power controller dynamically distributes power between ports when charging multiple devices simultaneously, supporting a total power of up to 165W.

Additional features

The developers did not limit themselves to the standard charge. The “body” of the massive gadget has built-in:

  • Walkie talkie function.
  • Dictaphone for recording short voice messages up to 30 seconds.
  • Digital LED display for monitoring charging parameters and energy level.

Cost

On the Chinese platform JD.com, the cost of the novelty is 499 yuan. In the transfer to local currency, it is about 3,000 hryvnias. ($73). The device is aimed at those who want to stand out in a cafe or co-working space, preferring a spectacular design combined with functionality.
