Moto Pad 70 Groove: a multimedia tablet with powerful JBL sound
02.08.26
Moto Pad 70 Groove is a fresh development from Motorola, aimed at multimedia enthusiasts and those looking for a functional device for work and leisure. The tablet is positioned as an “all-in-one” solution, combining high image quality, an advanced audio system, and convenient design features, such as a built-in kickstand.
Technical Specifications

The tablet’s technical capabilities are impressive in their balanced combination:
- Display: 12.1-inch LCD panel with 2.5K resolution. The refresh rate is 120 Hz, and peak brightness reaches 800 nits. It supports Dolby Vision and HDR10 technologies, as well as DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.
- Hardware Platform: Octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, complemented by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD cards up to 2 TB.
- Battery Life: The 10,200 mAh battery supports 45W TurboPower fast charging, providing up to 15 hours of video playback.
- Software: The device runs on Android 16 out of the box. The manufacturer promises support for at least Android 18, as well as monthly security updates for 4 years.
JBL Pro Audio System and AI Capabilities

The main feature of the device is the built-in JBL Pro system with 9 speakers (4 tweeters, 3 woofers, and 2 passive radiators). This allows the tablet to function as a Bluetooth speaker. Additionally, the gadget supports the AI-powered Live Transcript feature for real-time speech translation, recognizing over 40 languages.
Design and Ergonomics

The tablet is crafted in an all-metal body (6.8 mm thick, weighs 775 g) and is offered in the Pantone Blue Surf color. An important innovation is the integrated 360° Kickstand 2.0. It allows the tablet to be used in four positions: tilt for typing, vertical stand, cinema mode, and hanging mode.
Release Date and Price
At launch in India, the new product is priced at $360. The official sales start is scheduled for August 7. Currently, the gadget is available only in the local market, but a global release is expected.
If you need a device with excellent sound, long-term software support, and an unusually functional kickstand, the Moto Pad 70 Groove is one of the most interesting options in its segment. The inclusion of an AI-based translator adds to its competitiveness for users who frequently interact with foreign content. The Moto Pad 70 Groove is suitable for entertainment, work, or study.
