Lenovo is betting on compactness: the Yoga Mini i mini PC based on Intel Panther is presented
03.04.26
Lenovo has moved ahead of schedule by launching its new Yoga Mini i mini PC earlier than expected. Despite its extremely compact size, the device is positioned as a полноценная workstation for everyday tasks. For now, the model is available only in China, although its release was initially expected closer to mid-year.
A focus on Intel’s new platform

The key highlight of the device is the use of Intel Panther Lake processors, which are only beginning to appear in consumer products. In fact, the Yoga Mini i becomes one of the first platforms to showcase this architecture in a compact PC form factor.
The chassis volume is rated at just 0.65 liters, significantly smaller than most solutions in this category. At the same time, its physical dimensions appear somewhat unconventional for such a volume, possibly indicating a unique internal layout.
Despite its miniature size, the device supports modern interfaces, including Thunderbolt 4. This enables connectivity with external GPUs, high-speed storage, and other peripherals.
Streamlined configurations

At launch, Lenovo has limited the offering to a single base configuration. A more powerful variant featuring the Core Ultra 7 358H processor has not yet reached retail and is expected to arrive later.
The current configuration includes:
- Intel Core Ultra 5 325 processor
- 16 GB of RAM, expandable up to 32 GB
- 512 GB SSD
Pricing and global availability
The device is priced at 5,499 yuan (approximately $760) in China. While this is not a budget segment for mini PCs, the pricing is justified by the combination of a next-generation hardware platform and a compact chassis.
Lenovo remains cautious about the international release timeline, describing the device as “coming soon.” Its availability in other markets will likely depend on production and supply dynamics.
