Kontur in the browser aggregates radar data on Russian UAVs and missiles

The Ukrainian OSINT project “Kontur,” which monitors airspace during russian shelling, has received a web version. You can monitor the air situation not only through the Telegram bot but also directly in your browser on the kontur.systems website.

The service monitor offers more than just an air raid alert map. The interactive map displays the movements of Shahed (Geran) attack drones, reconnaissance drones, and various types of missiles. The system tracks the routes of cruise missiles, including the Kalibr and Kh-101, supersonic missiles such as the Onyx, hypersonic Kinzhal and Tsirkon, and ballistic missiles, including the Iskander-M and Oreshnik.

Individual markers on the map inform about the takeoffs of MiG-31K fighters, which may be carrying Kinzhal missiles. Users can also see the approximate flight paths of guided bombs toward specific populated areas. Additionally, the service integrates official air raid alert data, reflecting the current situation both by region and by individual districts of the country.

Among the main innovations, the developers cite an interface adapted for large screens and a time-lapse function. This allows you to review the history of air targets and analyze the development of the situation during alerts over a selected period of time.

It is emphasized that Kontur operates as an OSINT tool and uses information from open sources. All map markers are generated based on text messages from various alert groups, including Radar, Air Defense Radar, Missile Radar, and official Ukrainian Air Force channels.

Target locations are determined by algorithms based on references to populated areas and directions of movement. Therefore, the provided coordinates are approximate and not based on radar data.

The web version of the service can be accessed at kontur.systems.
