Flytech ARES UAV for reconnaissance is affordable and maintainable
08.05.24The Ukrainian company Flytech introduced a new reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle called ARES. Its main advantages are its affordable price and ease of repair. This device can be quickly introduced into military practice through simple training of operators, who can almost immediately use ARES in reconnaissance and combat operations.
Many units on various fronts have already tested its effectiveness. At first, drones were used to cover the needs of individual brigades, but after the successful use of Flytech ARES on the battlefield, it became clear that mass production was required. It took six months to get it up and running.
Multi-channel communication and good aerodynamics make ARES reliable and efficient. This device allows operators to quickly switch to backup communication channels in the event that the enemy uses electronic warfare (EW) systems on the same frequency, which ensures the safety of control.
ARES from FLYTECH is an operational-tactical level device
- UAV flight duration is up to 150 minutes.
- Communication range reaches 50 kilometers.
- It takes only 15 minutes to deploy the complex
Flytech’s immediate plans include the release of ARES 2, which will have a new communication system and an improved camera. It is also planned to create ARES 3 as a kamikaze drone with a range of 30 to 40 kilometers.
