The Oppo Find X9 Ultra smartphone, officially launched in China, has already established itself as one of the best camera phones in the market. Ground tests confirmed its superiority when shooting day and night, but the manufacturer decided to go further. To demonstrate the power of optics, Oppo teamed up with the team behind the YouTube channel SentIntoSpace. The goal of the project was to send a flagship to the boundaries of the atmosphere in order to film the Earth from space.

To film on the outskirts of space, a unique installation was used, which delivered the device to a significant height. The video published below demonstrates the incredible detail of images of the Earth obtained using the standard modules of the device. This confirms that optics designed for professional mobile photography are capable of maintaining clarity even in extremely rarefied atmospheres and specific lighting conditions.
