Casio July expansion: five new G-Shocks and two Baby-Gs enter the global market

New addition to the Casio portfolio

After the June premiere of 17 watches in Japan, Casio is moving into the global launch phase. The July collection includes both standard series and collaborations aimed at collectors and style lovers. The manufacturer has already presented lists of models on the British market, although the exact dates of the appearance of some new products on general sale are still being clarified. Those interested can subscribe to notifications about the arrival of goods on the official website.

G-Shock x Pokemon

The central event of the release was the G-Shock GA-110PKM-7A model, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon universe. The watch features a translucent polymer case and a dial color palette inspired by the aesthetics of the original 1996 Game Boy games. The strap features an image of 30 Pokemon, and the sub-dial, made in the shape of a Pokeball, has an indicator arrow, stylized as Pikachu. The cost of the model is 220 pounds sterling (about 280 dollars / 11,300 hryvnia).

Premium GravityMaster technologies

The G-Shock GravityMaster line deserves special attention, represented by three models: GWR-B3000-1A, GWR-B3000A-2A and GWR-B3000B-8A. This watch combines carbon fiber with stainless steel in a highly durable case. Depending on the configuration, the price ranges from £750 (~$950 / ~38,300 hryvnia) to £870 (~$1,100 / ~44,500 hryvnia).

Technically, the GravityMaster remains true to its roots: Multiband 6 radio synchronization, Bluetooth interface for connecting to a smartphone, Tough Solar charging and water resistance to 200 meters (20 bar). Three classic subdials complement the analogue design of the device.

Minimalist CasiOak and addition to the Baby-G series

Fans of strict aesthetics are offered the updated G-Shock GM-2100LXB-1A with a characteristic octagonal bezel, which has become the “CasiOak” standard. A minimalist matte black case, a carbon protective structure and a functional set (31 time zones, world time, timer, alarms) are offered for 210 pounds sterling (~265 dollars / ~10,700 hryvnia).

Weighing just 43 grams and with a 42.6mm case diameter, they come with the full range of Casio features, from a stopwatch with 1/100th of a second accuracy to 200 meters of water resistance.

What is the difference between the new Casio watches and previous models

For a fan of the brand, the current announcement means increased access to technological materials (such as carbon fiber) in the mid-price segment and the ability to choose between eccentric designer collaborations and strict business accessories. The main value of the new products lies in the combination of the familiar G-Shock reliability with modern communication functions and current design trends.
