Assassin’s Creed Shadows officially announced. System requirements published

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is a new game from Ubisoft, which was officially presented with the first trailer and some details about the project.

The game takes place in medieval Japan in 1579, during the country’s transition from the era of civil wars to a peaceful existence. In this game we will play as two characters: the legendary African samurai Yasuke and the female shinobi Naoe. They will work together, combining unique skills and playstyles.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows focuses on stealth and gives you a choice in completing missions – engage in open combat or act covertly.

The game will have a large number of objects that can be destroyed or cut, and the updated engine will realistically display damage from different types of weapons. Intense battles with mini-bosses are promised, giving the game the atmosphere of samurai sword duels.

The world of Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be alive and dynamic, changing seasons and dynamic weather will affect the gameplay. For example, at different times of the year it will be easier to hide in tall grass or cross frozen lakes. Wind and bad weather will also affect stealth capabilities.

More information about the game is promised to be presented at the Ubisoft Forward event on June 10. The release of Assassin’s Creed Shadows is scheduled for November 15 this year. The game can be purchased in the Standard, Gold or Ultimate Edition, with various in-game bonuses and cosmetic packs.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows system requirements

Assassin’s Creed Shadows has roughly the same minimum requirements as last year’s action game Assassin’s Creed Mirage. To run, you will need a computer with a Core i7-4790 or Ryzen 5 1600 processor and a GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or Radeon RX 570 4GB video card. In the case of Mirage, such hardware was enough for 1080p@30fps mode with minimal graphics quality settings.
