Acer Predator ES Thunder, Predator ES Storm and NITRO ES Series 4 SELECT: the company introduced a new line of electric scooters to the Ukrainian market

Acer expanded its line of personal electric transport and announced the start of Ukrainian sales of three new electric scooters — Predator ES Thunder, Predator ES Storm and Acer NITRO ES Series 4 SELECT. The new line is aimed at different scenarios of use: from daily trips around the city to more difficult operation with high loads, long routes and traffic on uneven surfaces.

The company is betting on a combination of increased autonomy, more powerful engines, damping systems and safety features that were previously more common in devices of a higher price segment.

Predator ES Thunder

Predator ES Thunder became the flagship of the series. This model is designed for users who need maximum performance and high traction when driving on difficult routes.

The scooter is equipped with a high-voltage 48 V power supply system and a battery with a capacity of 624 Wh. In peak mode, the engine is capable of producing up to 1400 W of power. The manufacturer claims a torque of 30 Nm, thanks to which the device can overcome climbs with a slope of up to 26%.

Maximum travel distance reaches 65 kilometers on one charge. Such an indicator allows you to use the scooter not only for short city trips, but also for long routes without the need for constant recharging.

Acer paid special attention to the design of the model. Predator ES Thunder received off-road 10-inch tires with an aggressive tread pattern, a double suspension system with a front fork and a rear shock absorber, as well as a reinforced frame. In addition, the device is equipped with the signature blue illumination of the platform, which has become part of the visual design of the Predator series.

The weight of the flagship model is 26.5 kg, which is due to a larger battery and reinforced construction.

Predator ES Storm

The Predator ES Storm model occupies an intermediate position between the flagship and the more versatile NITRO ES Series 4 SELECT.

It uses a battery with a capacity of 576 Wh and a motor with a peak power of 913 W. The manufacturer claims a range of up to 60 km. In addition, the KERS recovery system is used, which allows you to partially recover the charge during braking and coasting.

The scooter is capable of climbing up to 23%, which makes it suitable for urban use in areas with difficult terrain.

Predator ES Storm also received a complex design and an aluminum frame designed for a load of up to 120 kg. The weight of the model is 20.46 kg.

Visually, the device is made in a more aggressive Predator style with an emphasis on gaming aesthetics, which Acer is gradually transferring to other categories of its equipment.

Acer NITRO ES Series 4 SELECT

Acer NITRO ES Series 4 SELECT became the most versatile model of the new line. The device is aimed at users who need a balanced electric scooter for daily trips around the city.

The model is equipped with an engine with a peak power of 840 W and a torque of 23.1 Nm. The maximum range is declared at the level of 45 kilometers.

Like the older models of the series, the NITRO ES Series 4 SELECT supports the energy recovery system during braking. The scooter received 10-inch wheels and front suspension, which should increase comfort when driving on uneven asphalt and tiles.

The weight of the device is 19.46 kg, thanks to which the model remains the most convenient to carry and store among the entire new Acer line.

Acer increased attention to safety and moisture protection

All three models received protection against water according to the IPX5 standard. This means that electric scooters are designed to be used in the rain and are resistant to splashes and moisture.

Depending on the model, different braking systems are used. The Predator ES Thunder received front and rear disc brakes with EABS support. The Predator ES Storm and NITRO ES Series 4 SELECT use a combination of a front disc brake and rear electronic e-ABS system.

All devices have bright headlights, built-in turn signals on the steering wheel, reflective elements and a sound signal. Acer emphasizes that safety remains one of the key factors when designing a new line of electric vehicles.

Acer eMobility

For Predator ES Thunder and Predator ES Storm, the company offers the proprietary Acer eMobility application. With its help, the user can connect to the electric scooter via Bluetooth and get access to information about trips, battery charge and current parameters of the system.

In addition, the program supports the Electric Lock function, which allows you to remotely lock the scooter during parking or stopping.

Prices of new Acer electric scooters in Ukraine

Sales of all three models have already started on the Ukrainian market.
