Ugreen Nexode Pro 160W: a charging hub with a screen and a power of up to 160 W

Review of Ugreen Nexode Pro 160W: smart charger

Compact chargers are becoming more and more functional. Ugreen presented Nexode Pro 160W – a powerful GaN adapter with a built-in retractable USB-C cable, a color display and support for modern fast charging standards.

Thought out to the last detail

The main innovation in this model is a built-in retractable USB Type-C cable implemented according to the roulette principle. It stretches 70 cm and has eight fixed positions, making it an indispensable accessory for working outside the home. The basis of the device was the GaNInfinity architecture, which made it possible to pack a powerful stuffing into a body measuring 82 x 37 x 73 mm.

An informative color display is installed on the front panel. It displays current data in real time: power, voltage, amperage and even device temperature. Additionally, integration with the Ugreen Connect program is implemented, through which you can manage Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings.

The weight of the device is 310 g.

Power distribution and ports

In addition to the retractable wire, the hub is equipped with additional ports: two USB-C and one USB-A. The versatility of the device is emphasized by the support of current fast charging protocols, such as USB PD 3.2, PD 3.1, PPS, QC, AFC, SCP and UFCS.

Port Maximum Power
Built-in cable + USB-C 1 140 W
USB-C 2 100 W
USB-A 22.5 W

Cost

The official price is declared at the level of $150 (6700 UAH). A 20% discount is provided at the start of sales, making this “smart” hub one of the most attractive solutions for those looking for a balance between mobility and high output power for charging modern laptops.

Nexode Pro 160W offers not only high power, but also convenience in everyday use thanks to the built-in cable and informative display. This solution is suitable for users who regularly charge several devices at once and want to reduce the number of accessories in their bag.
