17.03.26
Following a series of leaks and premature retailer listings, Samsung’s upcoming mid-range stars, the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37, have finally appeared in real-world hands-on videos. A TikTok user from Thailand shared the footage, confirming that both devices feature a premium build consisting of glass and metal. The design language remains consistent with previous renders, showcasing a clean triple camera setup on the rear. Notably, both smartphones are confirmed to ship with One UI 8.5, which is based on the yet-to-be-released Android 16.
Samsung Galaxy A57: Premium Mid-range Power
The Galaxy A57 is positioned as the more powerful of the duo. It is expected to feature a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it runs on the Exynos 1680 chipset. While general specs suggest 6/8/12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage, the specific price leak from Thailand highlights higher-tier configurations. The 12/256GB model is priced at THB 17,999 ($554), while the top-end 12/512GB variant will cost THB 20,999 ($646). The device will be available in Lilac, Navy, and Charcoal colors.
For photography, the Galaxy A57 utilizes a triple-lens system: a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro camera. To keep everything running, Samsung has equipped it with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging.
Samsung Galaxy A37: Large Display and Solid Value
The Galaxy A37 offers a slightly larger 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, making it an attractive option for media consumption. It is powered by the Exynos 1480 SoC. In terms of pricing, the single 8/256GB trim is listed at THB 13,999 ($430). Consumers will be able to choose from three distinct colors: Charcoal, Greygreen, and Lavender. Like its more expensive sibling, the A37 features a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging capabilities.
The camera setup on the Galaxy A37 includes a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro camera. This combination ensures a versatile shooting experience for a mid-range device.
