Redmi K90 Ultra Set for June 30 Debut With Powerful Hardware and Active Cooling

Redmi has officially announced the imminent release of its new smartphone Redmi K90 Ultra. The presentation of the device is scheduled for June 30, 2026 in China, and pre-orders are already on the horizon. The new product promises to be one of the most productive solutions on the market, thanks to a serious emphasis on efficient heat dissipation.

The smartphone is based on the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. According to the manufacturer, in gaming scenarios the new product is capable of surpassing even devices based on the more modern Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The key to such high performance was the use of an active cooling system – the fan is able to reduce the temperature of the device by 10°C in just 100 seconds.

In addition to the hardware power, the device received a body with full protection from dust and moisture. At the front there is a 6.83-inch display with thin bezels, and the body is made using an aluminum alloy frame. The design is complemented by Space Silver color and a pronounced chamber block, where a cooling element is also integrated.

Gaming performance

Redmi K90 Ultra demonstrates outstanding stability performance. The smartphone is capable of maintaining 60 frames per second at maximum graphics settings for a full hour without throttling. In turn, analogues based on Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 begin to lose performance after 20 minutes of active load.

• In MOBA games, the device supports 144 frames per second for up to 180 minutes at an ambient temperature of 30°C.
• Standard competitors on Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 begin to reset frequencies after 35 minutes.

Cost

The price of Redmi K90 Ultra is stated in the 3000 yuan segment, which is equivalent to approximately 17,600 hryvnia ($440). The official presentation will take place very soon, where the company will present a detailed list of all technical parameters.
