Infinix Note 60 Ultra Review: A Racing Machine
25.04.26
What happens if you combine the boldness of an emerging electronics brand with the expertise of supercar designers? The answer is the Infinix Note 60 Ultra. The result of the collaboration between Infinix Mobile and Pininfarina is not just another smartphone, but an ambitious device aiming to take a place in the premium segment at a more accessible price. According to experts, the model “boldly enters the flagship-killer territory,” offering users not only powerful hardware but also a unique design aesthetic.
Design: Racing in every detail
The first thing that stands out is Infinix’s attempt to break away from uniform-looking devices. The Note 60 Ultra features ultra-thin bezels around its 6.78-inch AMOLED display and an aluminum frame that emphasizes its premium status. However, the real magic happens on the back panel: a carbon fiber-inspired texture, an additional Dot Matrix display, and a red Floating Taillight LED indicator resembling a racing car rear light. The designers aimed to make the device “attractive at first sight.”

The device measures 162.3 x 77.2 x 7.9 mm and weighs 220 grams. The front panel is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, while the camera module is covered with Gorilla Glass Victus. Practicality is not forgotten either: the body has IP64 certification, ensuring protection against dust and water splashes.
Performance and display: At peak capability
Under the hood is the latest MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, built on a 4nm process. Combined with 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, the smartphone delivers impressive power. Cooling and optimization allow the chip to maintain consistently high FPS in games and deliver instant responsiveness in the XOS 16 interface based on Android 16.
Key display specifications:
- Type: AMOLED, 1.208p (1208x2644px).
- Refresh rate: 144 Hz.
- Brightness: up to 4500 nits peak, 1600 nits in HBM mode.
- Eye protection: 2304 Hz PWM dimming to reduce flicker.
Photography: Say goodbye to compromises
In this generation, Infinix introduces its most advanced camera system yet. The main 200 MP sensor (Samsung HPE, 1/1.4″) comes with optical image stabilization (OIS) and supports 2x lossless zoom. It is complemented by a full-fledged 50 MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom (Samsung JN5) — a rare feature in this segment. Ultra-wide shots are handled by an 8 MP autofocus lens.
Energy revolution and ultimate bundle
Engineers managed to fit a massive 7000 mAh battery into the slim 7.9 mm body. The smartphone supports 100W wired charging (50% in 18 minutes) and 50W wireless charging. A special highlight is Bypass Charging mode, which allows the device to be powered directly while gaming, bypassing battery wear.

Unboxing: An ecosystem experiment
Unboxing the Note 60 Ultra feels like opening a collector’s edition. Reviewers describe it as “one of the most exciting unboxing experiences in recent memory.” Inside a large black cube with snap locks is not only the smartphone but also a full set of accessories.

- 100W power adapter and USB-C headphones.
- Magnetic case with MagSafe support.
- 50W magnetic wireless charging puck.
- Metal stand shaped like a sports car (zinc + carbon), turning charging into a desk installation.

However, there is a downside: the included MagSafe case is extremely rigid. During testing, it was noted that “installing and removing it became a real test of material flexibility, accompanied by an alarming plastic cracking sound.”

Price
At the moment, the smartphone is just entering the market. As of April 24, 2026, it is not yet available in Ukrainian retail stores, although it has already appeared in some major retailer catalogs. Based on currency rates and pricing of lower models in the series (Note 60 is expected to start from around 16,999 UAH), the Ultra version may cost between 30,000 and 35,000 UAH.
Should you buy it?
For an average user, upgrading to the Note 60 Ultra means solving the “battery life” problem for good. The combination of a 7000 mAh battery and fast charging eliminates the need for power banks even under extreme use. At the same time, users get a device that feels and looks more expensive than it actually is thanks to its accessories and Pininfarina design. Dual satellite connectivity also adds a level of safety during travel and in emergency situations. Messaging and calls can remain available even without cellular coverage, thanks to the Thuraya satellite network.
