After the successful spring launch of the K15 Pro line in China, Oppo is preparing to introduce the base model Oppo K15. The smartphone has already appeared in the brand’s official online store, where its key characteristics and design are revealed.
Release date and availability
The official announcement of Oppo K15 in China is scheduled for July 24. At the moment, the smartphone is available for pre-order in two colors: Gale Gray and Rapid White. The device is presented in a single configuration with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB storage.
Technical characteristics and capabilities
The main feature of the new product is the 8000 mAh battery. To ensure efficient operation under intense loads, the device is equipped with a built-in cooling fan and an evaporation chamber with an area of 4950 mm².
The heart of the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Super chipset. The display is a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel. Fast battery charging is ensured by support for a wired standard with a power of 80 W.
Cameras and additional features
The camera module on the rear panel includes two sensors of 50 MP each: a main one with support for optical image stabilization (OIS) and an ultra-wide-angle lens. An effective addition to the camera block is the presence of an RGB backlight ring. The front camera also has a resolution of 50 MP.
An additional advantage of the device is full protection against dust and water according to the IP69 standard, which is rare in this segment.
Price and availability
The K15 model is already available for booking on oppo, but the price has not yet been disclosed. Full pricing and availability details are expected to be released on July 24th.
Oppo K15 Verdict
Oppo K15 looks like a great choice for those looking for a smartphone with extremely high battery life thanks to its 8000 mAh battery and advanced cooling system for gaming. The model combines modern characteristics, high-quality IP69 protection and a balanced camera configuration, making it a strong player in its class. Of course, I would really like this model to appear on the Ukrainian market, but this may not happen. Since the older models K15 Pro and K15 Pro +, which went on sale in China back in April, have not yet appeared on our market.
