Memory and supply shortages drive up the cost of electronics

Deficit iPhone

Prices for smartphones, laptops and other consumer electronics in Ukraine continue to rise. According to market participants, this process is not yet complete and may persist in the coming months. The price increase is particularly noticeable in the segment of IT devices.

The main growth factor is the increase in the cost of RAM and flash memory, which is used in almost all modern gadgets. Each new batch of equipment arrives already with a listed cost price, which gradually forms a general price shift. In some categories, the price increase can reach up to 50% compared to last year.

Impact of logistics and iPhone shortage

Additional pressure on the market is the instability of global supplies and the shortage of new iPhone models after their release. The limited number of devices affects both the official sale and the unofficial segment, where abnormal prices were recorded in certain periods.

Expectation of market stabilization

According to current estimates, price growth may continue until the summer of 2026, after which the market may enter a stabilization phase. At the same time, companies are increasingly implementing process automation and using artificial intelligence technologies to analyze demand and form personalized offers.
