ASUS turned the 20th anniversary of ROG into a large-scale gaming ecosystem: from a super-fast router to AR glasses and collectible accessories
03.06.26
At Computex 2026, ASUS continued to reveal details of the ROG Edition 20 anniversary program, dedicated to twenty years of the Republic of Gamers brand. If earlier the manufacturer focused on motherboards, gaming systems and monitors, now the focus has shifted to devices that form a complete gaming ecosystem around the user. It includes networking equipment, peripherals, furniture, travel accessories, collectibles and even its own board game.
The main idea of the series is to show how far ROG has avoided the status of a manufacturer of computer components. Today, the brand strives to accompany the gamer in almost any situation — at home, at a tournament, on the road, and even outside the digital world.
Game router for future networks

One of the central devices of the new collection is the ROG Rapture GT-BE98 Pro Edition 20 router. This is a top model with support for the Wi-Fi 7 standard, created for users who build high-speed home networks with a large number of connected devices.
The router supports the most modern capabilities of the new generation of wireless communication, including channels with a width of 320 MHz, Multi-Link Operation technology and 4096-QAM modulation. According to ASUS, the total transfer speed can reach 30 Gbps, which allows you to simultaneously serve gaming PCs, consoles, streaming devices and smart home elements without a noticeable impact on the stability of the connection.
For gamers, there is a dedicated game port and an intelligent system for optimizing data transmission routes. It automatically detects game traffic and prioritizes it, reducing latency in network games. Two 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports, four 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, VPN support and advanced network security tools complete the picture.
Externally, the device stands out with a jubilee design in black and gold tones, which emphasizes belonging to a limited series.
Premium peripherals with collectible status
A noticeable part of the Edition 20 line is occupied by gaming peripherals. Here ASUS made a bet not only on performance, but also on exclusivity.

The ROG Azoth Extreme Edition 20 flagship keyboard has an all-metal body made of aluminum, a carbon mounting plate and a design with damping elements for a more pleasant tactile experience when typing. A color OLED display is placed on the body, and some decorative elements are made using 24-karat gold.
For fans of customization, ASUS has prepared ROG Keycap Mystery Box Edition 20 sets. Each box contains an arbitrary collectible keycap made in the brand’s signature style. The manufacturer bets on the effect of surprise and limited edition, targeting mechanical keyboard enthusiasts.

The line of gaming mice was not left out. The special version of the ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 uses the next-generation ROG AimPoint Pro sensor with a sensitivity of up to 65,000 DPI. The mouse is also equipped with optical switches with a lifespan of up to 100 million clicks and SpeedNova 8K wireless technology, which provides ultra-low signal transmission delay. The structure is complemented by glass legs made of Gorilla Glass material, designed for long-term use without loss of smoothness of sliding.
Game chair as an element of futuristic design

The anniversary collection also included the updated ROG Destrier Edition 20 chair. The model retained the popular concept of cyberpunk design, but received a new design with golden decorative elements.
The design combines an aluminum frame, mesh panels, eco-leather and soft polyurethane inserts. Numerous adjustments are available to users, including adjustment of armrests, lumbar support, seat height and backrest position.
According to the design of ASUS, the chair should be equally well suited both for many hours of gaming sessions and for working at the computer.
When ROG becomes part of everyday life
One of the most unusual parts of Edition 20 was the line of lifestyle accessories.

ROG SLASH Hard-case Luggage Edition 20 anniversary suitcase received an impact-resistant polycarbonate body, a reinforced aluminum frame and a built-in TSA lock. The interior space is adapted for carrying laptops, portable gaming systems and related accessories.

The ROG SLASH Backpack Edition 20 backpack is designed for everyday use. It can accommodate a laptop with a diagonal of up to 18 inches and is made of moisture-resistant materials. The feature of the model was the upper part of the Roll-Top design, which is collapsible, which allows you to change the useful volume depending on the needs of the owner.
Your own board game and collectible figure
ASUS decided to celebrate the anniversary not only with technology.

The ROG OMNI Edition 20 figure has become a collectible embodiment of the brand’s signature character. It is made in gold design and complete with additional accessories for customization.
An even more unusual project was the board game ROG Saga: Search of Lapuntu Edition 20. This is the first such product in the history of the brand. The game takes players into the ROG Saga universe and offers four-player co-op play. ASUS actually extends its own gaming mythology beyond digital devices and video games.
Portable gaming reaches a new level

Rounding out the anniversary line is the ROG XBOX Ally X20 Bundle, which combines an updated portable console and branded AR glasses.
The main update of the ROG XBOX Ally X20 was the 7.4-inch Nebula HDR OLED display. The device also received an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor with support for local AI functions, including intelligent image scaling and improved gaming performance.
The set includes ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 AR glasses, which are able to create the effect of a large virtual screen almost anywhere. In this way, ASUS offers a complete mobile gaming station for travel and travel.
ROG Edition 20 shows that the modern Republic of Gamers has long ceased to be just a brand of computer hardware. ASUS consistently builds an entire gaming ecosystem that covers almost all aspects of a gamer’s life – from home networking and workplace to travel, collecting and mobile gaming. The anniversary series became a kind of report on twenty years of brand development and at the same time a hint of how ASUS sees the future of the gaming industry.
