Honor Win H9 (2026): six-fan cooling system and 300 Hz display in a gaming laptop
27.04.26The Honor company introduced the Honor Win H9 (2026) gaming laptop, in which the main attention is paid to the redesign of the heat dissipation system. Unlike common solutions with two fans, an advanced configuration with six coolers is used here, reflecting an attempt to change the approach to cooling in the segment of performance mobile devices.
Redesigned case cooling logic
In the design of the laptop, a combined scheme is implemented, where the classic internal pair of fans is supplemented by four compact elements located on the back panel. Their task is not so much to cool individual components as to accelerate the removal of heated air outside the case and reduce the heat load inside the device as a whole.
This distribution of flows allows to reduce stagnation of hot air in the area of the processor and video card. According to Honor, the heat dissipation efficiency in this configuration increases by approximately 12.5% compared to traditional schemes. It is about more stable operation of the system under long-term loads, and not only about short-term peak values.
With moderate power consumption – up to 170 W, the noise level remains within about 38 dB. In the mode of maximum performance, the system is designed for a thermal package of up to 270 W, which indicates the orientation of the device for long-term work under high load.
Configuration designed for high loads

The hardware part of the laptop corresponds to the selected concept. The maximum version uses an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor in combination with Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti mobile graphics, for which the power limit is claimed to be 140 W.
The display is represented by a 16-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels. The 300 Hz refresh rate indicates a focus on dynamic game scenarios, while full DCI-P3 space coverage expands the device’s use beyond gaming.
The set of interfaces includes Thunderbolt 4, USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, three USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1 and gigabit RJ-45, which meets the expectations of devices of this class.
Pricing policy and possible global launch

In China’s domestic market, the base configuration with a Core Ultra 7 251HX processor, an RTX 5060 graphics card and 16GB of RAM is priced at 11,499 yuan, which is equivalent to about $1,590. The older version with Core Ultra 9 and RTX 5070 Ti is offered for 17,999 yuan – about $2,490.
There is no official information yet on the plans to release the model outside of China. However, Honor’s practice shows that similar devices may eventually appear in other markets, including the European one.
