Shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 has been officially announced and has already managed to make a strong impression on the gaming community thanks to a spectacular cinematic trailer. The developers promise to raise the quality bar of the famous franchise to a new level due to photorealistic graphics, elaborate gameplay and a deep plot. The order for the long-awaited game is already open.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 continues the famous series of military first-person shooters. The spotlight will once again be on dynamic multiplayer with a large number of different modes and maps, as well as an elaborate single-player campaign. Developers from Infinity Ward have prepared a project in which the main themes will be the concepts of military duty to the motherland, loyalty to one’s country and the mutual aid of comrades in arms.

Plot, locations and actors

The main conflict of the campaign will be a direct armed confrontation between the DPRK and the Republic of Korea. Both sides have the most powerful military capabilities, so their confrontation will inevitably affect the rest of the world, forcing other superpowers to intervene in what is happening.

The main character of the story will be a recruit named Park. The role of the hero was played by the actor Young Mazino, known to the audience from the projects “Beef” and the adaptation “One of Us” (The Last of Us). Park has to go through a difficult path of development — from a green novice to an experienced soldier in the epicenter of hostilities against the North Korean army. A significant part of the events will unfold in his native city of Hadzin.

In addition to Yang Mazino, the cast included Prisca Kim (Prisca Kim), who played the role of a North Korean army captain. To the delight of fans, Barry Sloane will return to the role of the legendary Captain John Price (Captain Price). However, in Modern Warfare 4, Price’s character will become much darker, since the first place for him will not be global victory, but personal revenge against old enemies.

Features of gameplay and locations

The scale of military operations will go far beyond the borders of the Korean Peninsula. While performing combat missions, players will have to visit New York, Paris and Mumbai. The photorealistic visual style should completely immerse the user in the atmosphere of a tense military technothriller.

The official release of the new military shooter is scheduled for October 23.

Supported versions and platforms

The game will be released simultaneously on personal computers (PC), as well as the current generation consoles PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and portable system Nintendo Switch 2. The developers separately assured the audience that the game is perfectly optimized for Nintendo Switch 2, so the portable console will cope without any difficulties.

Game price and pre-order
