Jose M. Moreno De Barreda
Mr. de Barreda works for the IFC (World Bank Group) as Sr. Digital Finance Specialist. Before he was the Founder and Managing Partner of Creatia Consulting and BROWN&HAWKMAN, two consulting firms advising technology intensive companies with differentiated client targets. He was also a Senior Adviser to MFO & Partners, an M&A boutique and Asset Management firm. Before founding both consulting companies he has been a consultant in leading consulting firms. He has more than twenty five years of strategic advisory experience in the Telecommunications, Media, Technology, Banking and Retail sectors and has worked in more than 40 countries in Western, Eastern and Central Europe, Scandinavian Countries, Middle East, Central Asia, South Pacific, North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to being a consultant Mr de Barreda worked in the Financial Services industry for 1st tier international banks. Since 2008 Mr de Barreda has been deeply involved in the Digital Financial Services industry. Mr de Barreda is also a qualified Lawyer admitted in the Madrid Bar Association specialised in Financial Advisory and Payments Regulations and a qualified Financial Adviser. He has been an advisor to the IDB, USAID, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Aga Khan Foundation, IFC and WB and other organisations on Digital Finance.
